Rally America Moves Into the Southwest
Williston, VT– (March14, 2018) – Rally America, Inc. is excited to announce it has assumed a majority interest in the Tri-State Rally that is headquartered in St. George, Utah. Tri-State started operations in 2016 with the most recent running in November 2017. “The opportunity arose to become the operator of the event in partnership with the founders Denise and Pat McMahon starting immediately which helps us with our growth strategy,” stated Bill Fogg, Sr., Owner of Rally America, Inc. and the Rally America National Championship. “Further, the McMahons worked tirelessly to gain multi-year road permits in the southwestern part of the United States and, with road use a growing challenge, this was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. Rally America already owns interests in Rally Colorado and Rally Wyoming so the southwest is a natural growth market for us.”
“With its technically challenging roads and seasoned group of dedicated rally volunteers, we believe Tri-State, when combined with Rally America personnel and experience, will quickly become a major event in the area. While the racing community in the southwest is large, it is mostly untapped for rally. Denise and Pat have worked for many years to create a friendly environment for all competitors to come and race. We will continue to build upon their motivations well into the future,” Fogg went on to say.
The event will be the first Rally America National point event for the 2019 season with an event date of November 9-10, 2018. Additional event information will be available at www.rally-america.com in the coming weeks.
